Lost Ark Revamps Its Chaos Gate Encounters With New Content And Rewards

Lost Ark has revamped its Chaos Gate system with new activities and challenges for endgame players to take on. The new Chaos Gates now feature a combination of the old Chaos Gate content, Treasure Maps, and Ghost Ships, as well as the chance to face off against a hidden boss after each successful run.

“Chaos Gates will now consist of countless demons in consecutive waves, and 3 bosses,” Amazon explained. “Defeating each boss will grant players with combat buffs that increases attack speed and decreases cooldowns. There’s also a chance that a special hidden boss will appear after defeating the last boss!”

Amazon says that no stat adjustments will be applied to characters, the overall difficulty, however, will automatically be adjusted based on the number of participants and their item levels. Players will still be able to access Chaos Gates from any continent, but matchmaking will now group players regionally into groups of 4-16 players.

Rewards for taking on the revamped Chaos Gates include honor shards, honing support materials, XP cards, legendary engraving recipes, random card packs, gold, silver, and gems. You can learn more about the new Chaos Gate system on the Lost Ark official site.
