Ahead of the upcoming South Korean closed beta for Lost Ark, the game's Community Manager detailed the advanced jobs of Lost Ark's four classes: Mage, Gunner, Warrior, and Fighter. We owe a big thanks to Steparu for sharing the information. You can visit Steparu's article for a more in-depth approach, and lots of artwork, or take a quick at my highlights below:

Warrior:

Berserker: wields an oversized two-handed sword to devastate enemies and can become enraged to become stronger.

Warlord: a support-oriented class equipped with a gun lance and shield to control mobs and protect party members.

Fighter:

Battle Master: uses elemental attacks, gaining Orbs for every hit which are consumed to unleash a special.

Infighter: the most agile class—able to dash twice—and uses a gauge system to activate skills.

Gunner:

Devil Hunter: switches between stances to swap firearms, such as between shotgun and rifle, and requires quick coordination to alter stances to meet combat situations.

Blaster: uses artillery and flamethrowers to obliterate enemies at range, but becomes immobile in some stances such as when using Heavy Launcher.

Magician:

Bard: the support class—using buffs, debuffs, and healing skills to aid the battlefield.

Lost Ark's closed beta is scheduled to begin on August 24th, but the test will be limited to 9000 participants, and you have to be a South Korean resident. We're out of luck but it's a sign the game is making progress. I'm looking forward to hearing how it fares and I'm hopeful for a Western release in the early months of 2017.
