Lost Ark Ran Into Major Issues During ‘The Art Of War’ Update’s Deployment
Murphy’s Law came into full effect when Lost Ark rolled out it’s massive “The Art of War” update earlier this week. Issues during the update’s deployment forced Amazon to extend the scheduled downtime, and at one point, the team even thought about pushing back the update altogether.
In the end, the team was able to fix the main issue and managed to push out the update but not without a few lingering problems, such as Royal Crystal purchasing errors, missing or incorrect audio, and text errors when using the Korean voiceover pack. The team is currently working on fixing the said issues as soon as possible.
In the meantime, players who plan to purchase Royal Crystals are advised to have Steam Overlay turned on and not to click too fast. Other smaller issues are expected to be fixed by next week’s update. Players are also being compensated for the extended downtime with a Collective Battle Item Chest, a 14-day Aura of Resonance Recovery Elixir, and a 3-day Crystalline Aura.
The Art of War update features the debut of the long-awaited Artist class along with the new 48v48 PvP mode called the Tulubik Battlefield. Details can be found in the full patch notes on the Lost Ark official site.
