Wizards And NetMarble Team Up On A New Magic: The Gathering Mobile Game Called Project M

magic the gathering project mWizards of the Coast and NetMarble are teaming up to put a new spin on the widely-popular trading card game Magic: The Gathering. According to a recent press release, the upcoming game, codenamed Project M, is a real-time multiplayer online battle game that will feature elements of NetMarble’s successful mobile games such as Marvel: Future Fight and Star Wars: Force Arena.

“Project M players will get to choose their Planeswalker, modify their deck of creatures and spells, and show off their creativity and strategy as they battle across the planes of the MTG Multiverse. Each creature & Planeswalker will be fully animated as they race across the battlefield to defeat their opponent.”

Unfortunately, the email doesn’t reveal the type of game that we’re to expect with Project M. From the description though, we can safely assume that it won’t be a CCG/TCG. It'll probably be a MOBA if the

video below is any indication. We’ll let you know as more details bubble to the surface.
