‘Main Profession’ Update Brings Crafting To Mobile MMORPG Lineage 2: Revolution

Since Lineage 2: Revolution launched two years ago, it’s been missing a staple feature of many MMORPGs – crafting. Not anymore. According to a recent press release, NetMarble has just rolled out the new “Main Profession” update which brings the long-awaited crafting feature to the popular mobile MMORPG, along with a new dungeon designed specifically for gathering crafting resources.

“Starting today, players can now create items and upgrade their equipment through one of the five Main Professions - Alchemy, Smithing, Gemcrafting, Enchanting, and Cooking. Crafting materials can be collected from the newly added ‘Harvest Dungeon,’ where players can mine, gather, and fish for resources as needed.”

The update also introduces Halloween content in the form of the Skull Balloon Event, a new Halloween-themed dungeon called the Horror Extraction Pit (probably not a good name for a dental clinic), and a Halloween-themed World Boss named Horror Komabor.

A revamped Soul Crystal system has also been introduced along with the new Tiat’s Altar Clan Dungeon and five new Agathions.
