‘Many Reasons For Optimism In 2022’ Says City Of Titans Studio President

It’s been nine years since City of Titans was successfully funded on Kickstarter but we still haven’t gotten our hands on a playable version of the superhero MMORPG. Developer Missing Worlds Media, however, assures backers and fans that they’re moving ever closer to realizing their vision for the game.
“Fellow Titans, we have been on a long road together from the Kickstarter through our Second Chance campaign to the present day with many highs and lows along the way, but always striving to move forward together and reach our goal of creating the world we envisioned in City of Titans,” said Missing Worlds President Nathaniel Downes. “As we approach the New Year, we here at Missing Worlds Media are so excited for this moment, as we see many, many reasons for optimism in the road ahead in 2022.”
Downes proceeded to recap the development progress they made on the game in the past year. Over the course of 2021, the team has introduced the Downtown and Old Bradford districts, landmarks in all existing districts, Travel powers, flying, player housing and bases, and MacOS support. The team also showed off works-in-progress, including combat, Engineering powers, and city building among others.
“We hope you agree that a lot was accomplished in 2021,” said Downes. “We understand and empathize with the wait for building this game, as it’s been a long process for us too. But those of us who have been here since the beginning are still here to tell you, we are excited about the game, we aren’t going anywhere, and we can’t wait to bring this world to life with you!”
