Marvel Heroes Omega Enters Open Beta On PS4 Today, Xbox One Version Launches June 20th

Gazillion announced today that the console version of its popular Marvel Universe MMORPG, Marvel Heroes Omega, is set to enter Open Beta on PS4 later today. Once the Open Beta client goes live, anyone with a PlayStation 4 will be able to download the game and begin beating on bad guys from the Marvel Universe alone or with friends. Unlike the PC version, they can even team up with a friend on the same console.

To celebrate the launch, all players will be given Daredevil completely for free. To claim the gift, you will simply need to download and install the PlayStation 4 version of Marvel Heroes Omega, then subsequently "download the free Daredevil pack via the PlayStation Store."

Gazillion CEO David Von Dorman had the following to say about the announcement.

Everyone at Gazillion is excited that all PlayStation 4 owners can finally experience the Marvel Heroes Omega open beta. But don’t think for a minute that we’ve forgotten about the PC audience for Marvel Heroes 2016 and players also excited to play Marvel Heroes Omega on Xbox One. Gazillion is dedicated to delivering the best Marvel Heroes experience on all platforms and remains committed to continued support of the game with exciting new content and updates for all.

It was also announced earlier this week that the Xbox One version of Marvel Heroes Omega is set to launch on June 20th. Xbox One users will soon be able to join in on the fun, but, unfortunately, the game won't have support for cross-platform play.

As of this writing, the Open Beta client has yet to go live on the PlayStation Store. We will be sure to update the article as soon as it does.
