Meridian 59 Server 105 Pushes For A Resurgence With Patch 2.0

Despite going open source sometime back, we haven't heard much about Meridian 59 in recent years. The now 21-year old first-person MMORPG still has a few community-run servers, as well as an official server or two, but no major news has come from any of them. This past weekend, however, a community-run server called "Server 105" announced that, now a year into its existence, it has received a major content update that the team behind it has dubbed "Patch 2.0" or "Resurgence."

Resurgence is a "mini-expansion" that introduces a new dungeon, located in Brax, and "a new item that can only be obtained by completing the dungeon." It also introduces a "historical museum" in Cor North that documents the early days of Meridian 59 and an underground "Death Arena" that can be found "in the disused storehouse underneath the Arena of Kraanan."

The patch included a number of other additions and changes, as well. You can find the full set of patch notes here.
