Microsoft’s ongoing acquisition of Activision Blizzard has PlayStation players concerned that the company might pull their favorite games from the platform. Microsoft, however, maintains that they will continue to support Activision Blizzard games on Sony’s family of consoles even after the deal pushes through.

“To be clear, Microsoft will continue to make Call of Duty and other popular Activision Blizzard titles available on PlayStation through the term of any existing agreement with Activision,” Microsoft President Brad Smith told IGN. “[. . .] We have committed to Sony that we will also make them available on PlayStation beyond the existing agreement and into the future so that Sony fans can continue to enjoy the games they love.”

“We want to enable world-class content to reach every gamer more easily across every platform,” he added.

It’s worth noting that the concerns are mainly centered around future Call of Duty games, three of which have been announced for release on the PlayStation sometime in the future.
