Mirage: Arcane Warfare Has Officially Launched

If you're like us here at MMOs.com, you're likely not exactly enamored with Mirage: Arcane Warfare. Maybe it's the small team sizes. Maybe it's the MOBA-like abilities. Maybe it's the fact that it's simply not as gritty as its predecessor. Whatever the case, you found that it's not your favorite game. Or maybe you're on the opposite end of the spectrum and you love it.

Regardless, Mirage: Arcane Warfare officially launched today and can be played indefinitely without worrying about such silly issues as when the Beta is going to end. The game is quite a bit like Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, offering intense, fast-paced, up-close-and-personal first-person melee combat mixed with an added element of magic, which is new to Mirage. Players choose one of several classes, customize their loadout, and take to the battlefield. Teams go head-to-head in various objective-based modes or simply beat each other up in team deathmatch.

Torn Banner Studios President Steve Piggott had the following to say about Mirage.

Mirage’s complex combat system puts complete control in the player’s hands. Swordplay and spellcasting are built together into a system where you can always both defend or attack. We can’t wait to see what players discover as they explore the depth of this world and the new fighting system.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare is now available on Steam for $29.99. A Special Edition that includes "exclusive in-game armor," various artwork, and a free copy of Chivalry is available for $39.99.
