Missing Lord Of The Rings Online NPC Sparks An Outcry On The Game’s Forums
As part of the annual Lord of the Rings Online Summer Festival event, players were tasked with collecting Figments of Splendor which they can then trade in for exclusive reward items through a certain NPC. Imagine their surprise when the NPC in question, the Curator, suddenly went MIA.
Apparently, a number of players thought that the seasonal NPC was a permanent addition and felt cheated out of their hard-earned Figments. This caused them to lash out at Daybreak on the LOTRO forums to bring the NPC back.
The devs were quick to put the Curator back into the game explaining that the NPC’s premature removal was simply due to miscommunication. The NPC will remain in game until the end of the Summer Festival on July 10th. Don’t worry if you’ve still got extra Figments of Splendor. The devs assured players that the Curator will be returning to the game again sometime in the future.
