World Of Warcraft Classic Gears Up For Tomorrow’s Final Burning Crusade Beta Test

world of warcraft illidanBlizzard Entertainment is planning one last Burning Crusade beta test with just a few weeks left until the expansion goes live on the World of Warcraft Classic servers. The studio has just sent out the final wave of beta invites in preparation for the start of testing tomorrow morning, or afternoon if you live in the east coast.

“On Wednesday, May 12, at 11:00 a.m. PDT (2:00 p.m. EDT), we’ll open the Dark Portal on a new Beta realm to test the Burning Crusade Classic launch. We’ll open the new realm ‘Launch Test’ on Tuesday for character copy, and to make sure we test thoroughly, we’ve just sent out one last big wave of Beta invites. Please join us on your copied character on the Launch Test beta realm on May 12, and head to Outland at 11:00 a.m. PDT. We plan to keep that realm open for several hours, with all zones and instances available.”

Character cloning is now available, which will probably be the last time you’ll get to clone your character for free before Blizzard starts charging $35 a pop for the service on May 18 alongside the pre-patch. The expansion itself launches on June 1.
