Monster Hunter Now Is Adding Four New Elusive Monsters In Its December Update

Monster Hunter Now is inviting players to roam the real-world streets to hunt giant beasts this holiday season in its first major update – Fulminations of Frost. The winter-themed update is set to go live in the mobile augmented reality game tomorrow, December 7th, bringing new weapons, dual blades and the lance- and several new monsters to use them on.

“A new Special Quest will give you the chance to discover Radobaan, Banbaro, Barioth, and Zinogre for the first time,” Niantic announced. “Once you’ve completed the Urgent Quests that occur in each chapter of the Special Quest, you’ll be able to encounter and hunt Radobaan, Banbaro, and Barioth on the field. You’ll also face off against Zinogre in an Urgent Quest, but the next time you’ll see it will be in the upcoming event, Zinogre’s Onslaught.”

The two-day event will run from December 15-17 and will give players a new way of hunting the elusive wolf-like monster. Pink Rathian and Black Diablos will also be returning to the mobile spinoff as part of the A Happy Hunting New Year event that’s set to kick off on December 23rd and will run until January 8th.

All in all, December is going to be a very busy month in Monster Hunter Now and possibly even your local city streets.
