Mortal Online 2 kicked off its fourth and apparently final round of testing for its upcoming Unreal Engine 5 upgrade. The promised visual and engine upgrade was initially scheduled for release in late October and is now reportedly set to arrive by the end of the month.

The latest test build features plenty of improvements from the previous test, including the addition of static guard towers, a new physics engine, performance optimizations, and clearer skies over the Myrland continent. The team also hosted a massive team battle on the test server yesterday to test how well the servers will hold up to increased loads.

The full patch notes on the Mortal Online 2 official site offers a detailed rundown of everything that’s new in the current testing round.
