Star Vault has rolled out a new patch to increase the capacity of Mortal Online 2 servers, address several bugs, and introduce various quality-of-life improvements. The team says that they’re holding off on adding new content for now to focus on increasing server capacity even more and ensure the stability of the global server. The team is also looking to remove more Myrland instances now that the servers can handle the additional load.

While the patch doesn’t include new content, it does introduce a few noteworthy changes. Players can now turn criminal if they push another innocent player too much. A warning will be given before you’re tagged as a criminal so watch out for that while you’re pushing people around town.

In addition, murder counts are now burned even while offline but at a slower rate than when you’re online and the Aggressive Stance no longer gives a damage bonus when attacking structures unarmed.

The patch also squashes several bugs, including one where players continually gained speed while sliding causing them to get stuck and take damage after getting unstuck. Misaligned rivers have also been aligned, buff icons now appear in the right place, and crosshairs now snap back to the correct position after swapping weapons or aiming with a bow.

Details can be found in the full patch notes on the Mortal Online 2 Steam page. You can also check out the latest developer stream below for a sneak peek at a new creature coming to the first-person sandbox MMORPG.
