Neverwinter players are in for a big surprise when they take on the five-headed dragon goddess Tiamat following the release of the Dragonslayer module next week. The expansion will include a rework both the Normal and Master difficulties of the Tiamat Trial with the Normal version requiring a minimum item level of 30,000 and the Master version requiring at least 70,000.

“The Dragon Queen has learned some new tricks and will use everything at her disposal to crush the mortals attempting to disrupt her ascendance. Tiamat employs oppressive magic to sow chaos on the battlefield that can only be dispelled with special Dragon Souls acquired during the encounter. Resourceful adventurers that utilize the Dragon Souls effectively will find some measure of reprieve from Tiamat and her servants’ relentless assault. However, simple trinkets will not be enough; you’ll need the help of powerful clerics capable of weakening Tiamat to give you a fighting chance. Keep them safe!”

Of course, with the increased challenge comes better rewards, including new Tiamat artifacts and accessories. The mightiest of dragonslayers will also be able to earn a special Tiamat cape and the “Tiamat Toppler” title by completing all of the associated achievements in Master difficulty.

Dragonslayer arrives on PC as well as on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 12th. More information can be found on the Neverwinter official site.
