New Ashes Of Creation Video Shows Off Actual Gameplay

Intrepid Studios definitively proved earlier today that it does not, in fact, have nothing and that there is, in fact, more to Ashes of Creation than just the environmental scenes when it released a video of Pre-Alpha gameplay, showing off part of one of the game's dungeons. A lot of what we see in the video seems more akin to single-player action RPGs than it does to MMORPGs, which is promising, and the spell effects are spectacular.

Due to the lack of a HUD and the way that the camera behaves during the recording, some of you might wonder if this is real gameplay and whether it is scripted or not. While there's no way to tell for sure just yet, I'm inclined to say that a player was, in fact, playing the game during the recording, as the way that the character moves around during combat is akin to the way a player would move around during combat in similar games.
