WildStar's massive PvE content update Destination Arcterra is just around the corner, but what about players that care more about PvP? What does the future of WildStar have in store for them? A new blog post from Game Director Chad Moore explains what the team has planned.

WildStar's PvP servers have seen significantly lower player numbers than their PvE counterparts. This leads to less open world PvP, which leads to "a less satisfying play experience." In an attempt to remedy this, two changes will be occurring. The first is that, on March 16th, the game's servers will all be merged into two servers: Entity for North America and Jabbit for Europe.

The second change has already been implemented. Players who flag themselves for PvP will be awarded Prestige and "additional" gold for each monster they kill in addition to XP. In the near future, the PvP flag notification on the UI will be improved to better reflect how soon it will wear off.
