New World Kicks Off New Siege Of Sulfur In-Game Event On August 30

Amazon Game Studios has announced another new event coming to New World called Siege of Sulfur. The event is scheduled to kick off on August 30th and will task players with protecting sandworm eggs from creatures known as Sulfur Elementals for a chance to score valuable rewards, including a Mini-Devourer hat skin, house decorations, and more.

“Dunewalker Mage carts broke down while transporting sandwurm eggs to a secure location. Each Mage has created a shield to protect their precious cargo, but can only prolong the inevitable onslaught. Rush to provide support at locations across Brightwood, Ebonscale Reach, Edengrove, Mourningdale, and Brimstone Sands.”

The event will be open to teams of 10 or more max-level players and will run until September 12th. More information about the Siege of Sulfur event can be found on the New World official site.
