Osiris: New Dawn Gets Two New Classes, June 22 Update Delayed

osiris new dawn panelsOsiris: New Dawn is getting two new playable classes with its next update: the Field Engineer and the Infantry Marine. The upcoming classes were revealed in two separate Twitter posts earlier this week.

Both classes were scheduled to roll out in an update slated to go live on June 22nd. Unfortunately, the update will probably be pushed back to sometime next week due to technical issues. The team explains the reason for the delay in a post on the Steam Community page:

“Hey guys, just wanted to fill everyone in on what's happening over the last day or so. After a late night power outage, we came to discover that our repositiory (the place where we keep the game files) has some type of corruption, either from the power outage or some kind of error with an update. While it's not incredibly harmful, this is indeed another setback and is taking away time better spent making the update for you guys. We're working around the clock (without a lot of sleep!) to get this fixed ASAP, and while we are still targeting the 22nd, it's realistically looking more like the update may be coming early next week instead. I apologize to everyone for the inconvinience, and I will update you all as soon as we know more.”

We’ll keep you posted on the upcoming update as news becomes available. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer for the Osiris: New Dawn Porteus II Unearthed update after the jump.
