Now that Season 7 is in full swing in Overwatch 2, Blizzard Entertainment is once again planning to shake up the season’s dynamics to keep things fresh and fine-tune some of the changes introduced this season.

Surpisingly, no changes will be made to Sombra, despite complaints about her Season 7 rework being either underpowered or overpowered. According to Blizzard, data shows that she’s quickly becoming a popular choice for a main character, and the team is happy with where she stands in the current meta. That’s not saying that she won’t be tweaked or updated in the future, but she’ll remain just as she is for now.

Support heroes, however, are due for a targeted nerf to their sustain and survivability, but not so much as to make them as underpowered as they were when the sequel launched. Bastion’s assault form will be nerfed in the mid-season update, while Roadhog will be getting a rework sometime in the latter half of Season 7. The team is also monitoring the recent adjustments made to Orisa and are waiting to see how she performs before making any other changes.

Blizzard also promises to introduce new ways to acquire popular hero skins outside of season pass bundles following complaints about Moira’s Diablo 4-inspired Lillith skin.

Speaking of skins, the studio has lined up another cross-promotional event featuring rising K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM. In case you’re wondering, that’s an anagram for I’m Fearless. The event will kick off on November 1st with a new themed game mode and LE SSERAFIM legendary hero skins in tow. An Overwatch-inspired music video for the group’s “Perfect Night” song will also be premiering on October 26th if you’re into Korean pop songs.
