Palia is back for round two of alpha testing with new features for testers to try out over the next few weeks. The month-long alpha test will give players an early look at the rain system, community events, the new-player experience, and the additional color palettes and customization options for decorating player houses. This is in addition to all the features and content that were available during the community simulation MMO’s first alpha test earlier this year.

“We’ve added many new features since the last Alpha, and we need drivers to come take them for a spin,” says developer Singularity 6. “We especially want to hear what our testers think about how they are introduced to Palia from the very beginning, and how the story unfolds as they voyage deeper into the world. A friendly early game experience is a big part of creating a welcoming game, and to get players ready for all the mining, chopping, fishing, crafting, and adventuring to come.”

Players are encouraged to find as many bugs as they can and give feedback on various aspects of the game. Alpha testing also gives the developers a chance to practice and prepare for running a live service game which includes deploying patches, running events, and providing player support. “All of us here at Singularity 6 are looking for opportunities to exercise these muscles as often as possible, which means a smoother launch experience for everyone,” the studio says.

If you’re interested in joining future playtests, you can throw your name into the hat by signing-up on the Palia official site.
