Pocket Pair Promises To Keep Palworld Servers Operational ‘Without Regard To Cost’

There’s no denying that Palworld is generating a ton of revenue for Pocket Pair, with over 19 million copies sold to date. Most of that revenue, however, will go towards keeping the Pokémon-like MMO’s servers running, as the studio revealed on X.

According to a tweet from CEO Takuro Mizobe, this month alone will cost them over 70 million yen, or roughly $470,000, in server hosting fees. That’s just a small dent in the studio’s earnings from the game, but sales will likely begin to peter out within the next few months if it hasn’t done so already.

Meanwhile, Pocket Pair games are currently on sale at up to 50% off on Steam as part of the platforms’ ongoing Steam Next Fest event.
