Palworld Is Now Accepting Applications For A Separate Closed Testing Branch

Hit critter-collecting survival game Palworld is enlisting the help of its players to help test out new updates before they’re released into the untamed wilds of the early access build. With that in mind, developer Pocket Pair officially opened sign-ups for a separate testing branch to help kick the tires of upcoming content releases.

Applicants will need to have a Steam account, be a member of the Palworld Discord, and must have “working knowledge” of the game and its mechanics. Those who receive an invite will also be expected to submit feedback and bug reports and answer questionnaires in either English or Japanese after every testing round. Pocket Pair also notes that some game content may be unavailable or restricted on the testing branch.

“The main purpose of this test is to receive feedback from players in order to improve the quality of the game in preparation for update releases,” the studio explains. “There are still many unfinished parts, so you will not be able to play the entire game during tests, but we appreciate your cooperation.”

There’s no timeline on when the application period will close, when testing will start, or what features or content will be up for testing, but if you’re interested, you can throw your name into the hat by filling out this form.
