Part 3 of MU Season X Hits September 1st

Considering MU Online is bringing in the most revenue for Webzen, it should be no surprise that the game is seeing major updates even a decade after release. Entitled "MU Season X Part 3," this new update brings with it a host of new features, including an increased level cap of 800.

Introduced in Part 3 is a fifth Errtel, the "Errtel of Radiance." This Errtel can be combined with pentagrams in order to give additional elemental damage and defense options. To use them, the fifth slot of your pentagram must be unlocked via the "Expansion Scroll of Radiance Slot."

The biggest feature of this update, however, is probably the Skill Imprint system. The elements you equip to your pentagram will now affect skills, making them more powerful. It empowers imprinted skills using the same element as the pentagram.

In order to celebrate, a host of new events are being held. New players that join between today and the 31st, creating their first character in that time, will be awarded an "all-in one starter package" worth $40. Returning players—who haven't played since before—will be awarded a 14-day Gold Channel Ticket, as well as several other in-game items. From the 1st to the 22nd, Webzen will also be hosting Max Level-Up and Errtel Reinforcement Events, the details of which have yet to be announced.
