Past Fate Miraculously Hits Kickstarter Goal Open Alpha Server Now Closed

Over the past few months, we’ve been following Icy North Games and their second Kickstarter campaign for their in-development fantasy MMORPG, Past Fate. With 11 days to go until the end of the campaign, the studio had only managed to raise $4,700 of their $25,000 funding goal and it looked like their second attempt at crowdfunding would be meeting the same fate as their first one. But by some miracle, the studio managed to reach their funding goal two hours before the end of the campaign this weekend.

In an effort to drive more interest in the game and help secure funding, Icy North Games kept their open alpha test running throughout the Kickstarter campaign. The alpha server has been taken offline as of Monday morning. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of the game as the developers plan for a late 2022 release.
