Past Fate Adds Spellcasting, Rune Crafting, Dual-Wielding, And Sacrificial Altars

Last week’s new Past Fate open alpha trailer apparently showed off a new feature that the upcoming MMORPG’s community was quick to notice – the ability to cast spells. That ability was added to the game earlier this week along with the tools of the trade necessary for any traditional spellcaster, wands and staves.

These new weapons allow players to cast various spells to manipulate the elements or raise the dead. These spells also require different runes which can be crafted using the newly-added Rune Crafting profession which is currently in its first iteration and may be tweaked, adjusted, or changed in the future.

Cooking Fires and the ability to use them have also been added as well as dual-wielding, lore items, and a highly-experimental version of Praying Altars which can be used to sacrifice various items and goods to receive blessings.
