Corpses In Path Of Exile: Affliction Will No Longer Go Boom As Often As Before

Path of Exile released a relatively small update last week that made life a bit easier for the exiled denizens of Wraeclast.

Players making their way through Affliction’s Viridian Wildwood will notice that corpses in the zone take longer than usual to explode thanks to an adjustment made to the delay timer of the Detonate Dead skill employed by mobs in the region. Additionally, newly discovered NPCs in the region will now show up on the mini-map and all darkness monsters will now disappear when the exit portal appears.

On the subject of skills, Spell Cascade will no longer work on Detonate Dead of Chain Reaction since it wasn’t supposed to work on it at all in the first place. Several skill and gem descriptions have also been updated with more information on their effects.

Over 800 new Tier 17 Valdo’s Maps have also been added to the existing collection of maps that you can randomly acquire from Valdo’s Puzzle Boxes. The Voidborn Reliquary has similarly been updated with over 1300 new unique items.

The update also introduces a long list of bug fixes for a whole host of known issues, the details of which can be found on the Path of Exile official site.
