Phantasy Star Online 2 Celebrates 12th Anniversary and Discusses New Content in Latest NGS Headline

SEGA today unveiled several new updates for its free-to-play online action RPG, Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis during the latest NGS Headline. The NGS headline discusses future content and updates coming to PSO2. One major addition coming to the game is the launch of Line Strike, the new in-game card battler on July 10. PSO2 is also celebrating its 12th anniversary on July 3.

Upcoming Events and Campaigns:

• Super Phantasy Festival: Starting July 3, PSO2: NGS celebrates its 12th anniversary with the Super Phantasy Festival. Central City will sparkle with lights and special decorations. Players can enjoy increased rate boosts and obtain valuable gifts through various campaigns running until July 31. This event also features the Ceremo Rappies across Halpha and exclusive items like the Hariette & Manon - 12th Anniv. Stamp and powerful 9-star-Rarity Liuxtra series weapons.
• Ultra PSO2 Day: On July 1, and for premium users again starting July 21, Ultra PSO2 Day offers players infinite bursts, luxurious gifts, and significant boosts in Rare Drop Rate and Item Preset Skill Rate. Premium players can also draw up to 150 free SG Scratch Tickets.
• 100 Million EXP! Rapid-fire Training Campaign: New and returning players reaching Level 20 with any class by July 3 can instantly level up to 87, thanks to a massive N-EXP boost, allowing them to experience new content quickly.

New Gameplay Content:

• Line Strike: Launching on July 10, this card battler offers various battle modes including NPC Battle, Ranked Battle, Unranked Battle, and Free Battle. Players can collect Card Scratch Vouchers to draw new cards and strengthen their decks. A new Build Part, the Line Strike Playing Board, will also be introduced, facilitating spontaneous player battles.
• Limited-Time Quest - The Twin-Horned Raven From Beyond: This new quest challenges players to defeat the Ruinus boss enemy Ruine Gryphon in various dynamic environments. Participants can earn special rewards including SP Scratch Tickets and N-Augment Transfer Pass Vouchers.

Duel: Phase 5

• Duel: Phase 5: Players engage in a one-on-one battle against Venogia, an enemy with a wide array of actions. Successful completion of this duel earns players themed Title Icons and valuable items, enhancing their gameplay experience.

• Seasonal Activities: Navigator Xiandy, donned in her summer dress, will guide players through seasonal activities and the mysterious appearances of Lillipans. Her Seasonal Points Exchange Shop offers numerous rewards and enhancements for player gear.
