PixARK Officially Launches On PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, And Switch
Hey dinosaur fans! The long wait is finally over as Snail Games’ pre-historic voxel sandbox PixARK officially launches on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is basically ARK: Survival Evolved set in a procedurally-generated voxel world complete with dinosaur-taming, crafting, tribes, and a robust character creator.
“The day is finally here and I couldn’t be more proud of how far PixARK has come along,” said Snail Games Director of Live Operations and Business Development Peter Kang. “More than anything, we wanted to create a game that everyone, no matter their age experience, could enjoy. PixARK extends the world of ARK to a larger demographic, and we’re excited for players to jump in and explore with friends and family!”
“Team up with friends to form a tribe, or play on their own. Spend time building a towering fortress or go on a quest in a sprawling cavern. Fly on the back of a dragon and smite their enemies with a magic wand, or ride a mighty T-Rex and blast their foes with a rocket launcher. The game is currently available for $39.99 on Steam. But, if you wait a couple more weeks for the annual Steam Summer Sale to start, you’ll be able to grab a copy of the game for just $27.99. The Steam Summer Sale starts June 25th and will run until July 5th.
