Pixel Starship's Worldwide Launch Set For January 6th

8-bit retro-themed games are making a come-back with the upcoming space-themed strategy MMORPG Pixel Starships. The game was initially released in Australia for beta testing and is set to be released globally on January 6th.

Savy Soda launched a successful Kickstarter campaign earlier this year to fund a game that they describe as, "The world's first full control starship management strategy sci-fi mmorpg game in an 8bit massive online universe."

Pixel Starships let's players command and customize their very own starships with a variety of rooms, staff, and weapons, then test them out against other players in online PvP matches.
