PSO2: New Genesis Shows Off More Of Kvaris And Next Month’s Anniversary Event
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis showcases more of its upcoming wintry Kvaris zone in the latest episode of NGS Headline. The video offers more information about the upcoming region and shines the spotlight on two new major characters, new enemies (DOLLS included), new six-star weapons, and two new player actions, including throwing ice at enemies and the highly-anticipated snowboarding.
Players will be able to step foot in the new zone when the Frozen Resolution update arrives in June.
SEGA also revealed new quests and events coming next month as part of the reboot-slash-expansion’s 1st anniversary celebration. May 11th will kick off the anniversary festivities with a special anniversary quest which will give players a chance to harvest Anniversartichoke and Randomite. Players will also be able to take on The Dazzling Chaos Suppression Op for a limited-time with no Battle Trigger requirements which means that they’ll be able to take on the op as many times as they want while the event is live.
The second half of the anniversary event will begin on May 25th with more quests to undertake including a new Urgent Quest that will task players with protecting a mining rig in the heart of Retem.
