PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Has Sold Over 20 Million Copies
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds continues to set the bar higher every month for Battle Royale games, and for MMOs in general. PUBG announced on Twitter earlier today that they've sold over 20 million copies to date, breaking the 20 million mark over the weekend. That’s a very impressive number considering that the game is only a few months old.
In spite of PUBG’s meteoric rise to success, the immensely-popular last-man-standing shooter does have its shortcomings, including delays with the PC 1.0 patch and issues with cheating, a problem that has plagued every other competitive MMO in the market. Bluehole assures players that the devs are working hard to give them a “great Battle Royale experience” and that “Change is coming!”
