PUBG Mobile Adds A New 4v4 Deathmatch Mode; Reaches Over 400 Million Downloads
Want to take a break from all the Battle Royale mayhem in PUBG Mobile? Well, why don’t you relax for a bit and join a 4v4 Team Deathmatch instead? The new mode is now live and features faster-paced fights and new in-game additions.
“The new mode challenges PUBG MOBILE players to communicate, work together and think quickly to earn coveted chicken dinners. Available in both First-Person Perspective (FPP) and Third-Person Perspective (TPP), the new deathmatch mode features a timed respawn where teams race to earn the most kills.”
The latest update also brings with it additional Godzilla: King of Monsters content as part of the ongoing crossover promo. In addition, the update also features upgraded control settings, footprints in the snow to track down enemies in Vikendi, a new third-party anti-cheat system, new Achievement Challenges, and new social features.
Meanwhile, PUBG Corp. is celebrating yet another milestone as PUBG Mobile records 50 million active users and over 400 million downloads. The new Gameplay Managements System has also been recently introduced into the game in a number of regions across the globe. The new system should, according to the devs, “encourage players to enjoy a sustainable and balanced PUBG MOBILE experience.”
“Players will be requested to confirm their age to activate the Gameplay Management when they login for the first time, while players under the age of 18 have to acknowledge a gaming advisory before they can start the game,” explains the devs. “Also, the system will use pop-up notification about game playing time to reminder players to have a rest or stop the game.”
