Quake Champions' Large-Scale Tech Test Begins Today

Quake Champions' nine-day Large-Scale Tech Test kicks off today and anyone is free to take part. The event's exact start time has not been announced, but rest assured that it will start today. The NDA is being dropped alongside the start of the event, as well, so you can feel free to talk about the game and share your experiences with it as of today.

A new mode called "Sacrifice," which pits two teams of four against each other, is also being introduced. The mode will be the "primary team competitive mode for all major eSports tournaments," requiring players to coordinate which Champions they select, as well as work together as a team in matches.

If you already have a Beta code, you can begin downloading the Beta client now. If not, you can sign up for one on the official website, which has replaced its Beta sign-up button with one that says "Get Beta Key."

Additionally, Bethesda recently released a new trailer for a champion named Visor. His active ability is called "Piercing Sight," whereas his passive is called "Grasshopper"; their effects aren't exactly made apparent in the trailer. You can find the trailer embedded below.
