A Quick Look At Diablo III Season 8 Rewards
Season 8 for the Diablo III PC version will begin on October 21st at 5PM PDT. The upcoming season will feature the return of Lionhearted, Curses!, and Stars Align seasonal conquest, along with new rewards and items. These include additional stash tabs, new class sets, and new cosmetic rewards. Players will also get a chance to acquire new wings inspired by the Maiden of Anguish, Andariel, one of the most iconic villains from Diablo II.
Blizzard Entertainment has also hinted that they will be wiping older Seasonal records sometime in the future stating in a dev blog that, “As we continue on into additional Seasons, we will no longer be able to store some personal Seasonal records. While Season 8 will store your personal bests for all Seasons to date, at some point in a future Season we will begin removing old personal bests, beginning with Season 1. This will be true regardless of your participation in past Seasons. We will have more details on this at a later date.” They assure players, however, that Seasonal Leaderboards will not be cleared and will remain archived in the game and on their website.
