Rend Showcases Menacing Bi-Pedal Birds Called Rocs

rend roc packLooks can be deceiving when it comes to bipedal bird. Sure they look cute but you can never be too sure what goes on behind those large beady eyes. Are they friendly and can you ride them in search of buried treasure? Or will they gang up on you and peck you too death the moment you come too close? Apparently the new Rend birds fall into the latter.

“Their squawk is unmistakable, a piercing cry across the plateau to scare off potential threats or orchestrate a flock’s attack. Rocs are the pack hunters of the Highlands, roaming the foothills in groups and led by a matriarch, larger both in size and attitude. Often growing taller than most men and armed with razor-sharp talons and pointed, muscular beaks, these birds are no easy prey. Though roc wings are too underdeveloped to be capable of sustained flight, they do allow the birds to hover short distances with the help of a well-timed pounce from their powerful legs.”
