Tencent's "1 million gun" FPS Rising Fire is currently in Alpha testing and we've got some gameplay footage to see what it's all about, thanks to MMOCulture. The Chinese apocalyptic shooter is developed by Yingpei Games, a subsidiary of Epic Games—partially owned by Tencent (48.4% after a $330 million deal; Tencent going to own the whole industry soon).

The game introduced my eyebrows to my forehead after it claimed 1 million different guns to fire at alien invaders from a third-person view.

Gameplay consists of running through linear maps as one of four classes: Hunter, Cyborg, Bouncer, or Ranger. Although there are apparently open worlds, with bosses roaming them, thought most of your time will be spent dungeon running. And you'll run them with friends, if you want. Or you could kill each other in PvP, though we haven't seen any footage just yet.

The trailers give it a Gears of War vibe: run and shoot, sometimes shooting from behind cover.

No word on whether or not Rising Fire will make the journey to the West. That will likely depend on it success at home.
