RuneScape Announces The Final Quest Of The Elder God Wars Saga
RuneScape’s year-long Elder God Wars storyline will be coming to a close next month with the release of the Extinction quest next month. Extinction will be the first Grandmaster quest that the team has released since 2016 and will come with over three hours of content that will require players to recruit multiple allies and take on challenging new enemies as they make their final stand for the future of Gielinor.
“Your final quest will see you return to Senntisten, where all fronts are now attacking with even greater intensity to claim the Elder God eggs. Two key characters will come to the fore: Moia (a half-Mahjarrat general of Zamorak) and Hebe, an obscure Saradominist hero. You’ll have to make new allies and travel across Gielinor to determine the fate of the world – once and for all.”
Extinction is set to arrive sometime on April 4th and is a high-level quest that will only be available to active subscribers. Players must have also completed the “Desperate Measures”, “City of Senntisten”, and “Eye of Het II” quests before they can take on the new Grandmaster quest.
The team also recommends that players complete the “Sliske’s Endgame”, “One of a Kind”, and “Sins of the Father” questlines to get a full grasp of the Elder God Wars lore.
