Jagex Announces Runescape: Idle Adventures

Jagex has announced Runescape: Idle Adventures, an upcoming idle RPG game for Android, iOS, and PC. The game is being developed in collaboration with Hyper Hippo, the developers behind the popular passive capitalism simulator AdVenture Capitalist.

Chilled-out, low-intensity gameplay sits alongside deep character progression and a light-hearted, comedic story, with nuggets of RuneScape lore unveiled as you progress.

While limited information is available, Jagex did reveal that play sessions will consist of players customizing their hero for a few minutes before unleashing them to quest and fight on their own. Players will be able to check their hero's progress from their tablets, smartphones, and PC's, feeling a sense of satisfaction similar to macroing in Ultima Online.

Runescape: Idle Adventures will be available sometime this Spring, and will be free-to-play.
