Sci-Fi Survival Game Planet Nomads Enters Early Access

Craneballs' sci-fi survival game Planet Nomads has officially entered Early Access. The game, much like many other sci-fi survival games, puts players on an "undiscovered alien planet" and challenges them to stay alive. Features include various alien life, status effects like being frozen or poisoned, what Craneballs refers to as "LEGO-style building on a large scale," vehicles, and more.

Unlike many survival games, Planet Nomads has "end goals." The game's first end goal is to create "a spaceship capable of interplanetary travel." The mention that this is the first end goal leads me to believe that there will be more in the future.

Now, I know that many of you are tiring of Early Access survival games, but there is one thing that Planet Nomads immediately has going for it. Look at that colorful, vibrant world. The alien planet that you're stuck on is a lush, well-crafted one with several biomes.

Planet Nomads is now available on Steam and GOG for $29.99, temporarily discounted to $26.99 for the week of launch.
