2D Co-op ARPG Secrets of Grindea Launches On Steam After 9 Years In Early Access
Secrets of Grindea is a four-player co-op ARPG from indie studio Pixel Ferrets that’s all about collecting the rarest loot to become the greatest Collector in the entire sprite-styled kingdom. It’s now launched out of early access after 13 years in development and nine years in early access, and is enjoying “Very Positive” reviews on Steam.

The 2D retro-styled title features over 300 unique items for players to collect, which can be obtained through completing side quests, slaying bosses, solving puzzles, and farming. Its open class-system allows players to tailor-fit their characters to their preferred playstyle with 31 different spells and abilities. Players can also engage in various non-combat activities including taming, crafting, and minigames. There’s also a standalone roguelike mode for those who want to put their skills and builds to the test.
Secrets of Grindea is available on Steam, GoG, and Humble, with a $14.99 box price. It’s currently on sale at 10% off on Steam until March 8 with a free playable demo on the platform if you want to take it out for a test run before buying-in.
