Shadow Arena Adds Team Deathmatch And Rookie Battle Pass

shadow arena swordfight bannerToday’s Shadow Arena update gives players a little more gameplay variety with the addition of a team deathmatch mode. In the new mode, two teams of five players fight it off in 20-minute matches. The first team to reach 30 kills or the team with the most kills when the timer runs down wins the match.

Unlike regular battle royale matches, players will be able to change heroes when they respawn but they’ll have to relearn all their skills should they choose to switch to a different one. Players can also recover 10,000 HP through an NPC that randomly spawns on the map. Participating in team deathmatch will reward players with five Hero Mastery Points and five Silver for every player killed and 10 Hero Mastery Points and 30 Silver for winning the match.

The latest update also introduces a Rookie Battle Pass that will reward new players with Silver, a 7-day All Hero Pass, and a title for completing five Ranked Solo matches. The update also comes with a number of Tournament changes and Hero balance tweaks.

The full patch notes can be found on the Shadow Arena official site.
