Ship Of Heroes Begins Counting Down To A Kickstarter

Creating a City of Heroes successor isn't cheap. In fact, a reliable source tells me that you can get exactly one City of Heroes-like character creator done on no budget and then you'll need to head to Kickstarter. At least, that's what we can infer from Ship of Heroes, as developer Heroic Games has posted a countdown to a Kickstarter on its official website.

At the time of writing, the countdown is at approximately 40 days and 15 hours. It's quite a ways away and we may very well forget that it's even happening by then, but the countdown is there to remind us as long as we remember to visit the website.

No further details, such as a target funding goal, have been revealed as of yet.
