Shot Online Coming to Steam on January 22

Shot Online, the free to play golfing game from GamesCampus and Webzen, is launching on Steam on January 22, 2019. The game originally launched back in 2004, making it one of the earlier free to play games in the West.

GamesCampus used to be an avid publisher of free to play games. During its peak back in 2011 the company used to service nearly a dozen free to play games including Asda Story, Asda 2, Legend of Edda, Scarlet Legacy, Drift City, and more. Today, GamesCampus.com only has a single title left, Shot Online and its been their longest running game. Time will tell if it finds success on Steam, but even if it doesn't, I suspect Shot Online will continue to survive as it has for the last 14+ years.

Shot Online is a MMO golf game that brings the world of competitive sports straight to the player with role-playing elements, making it more than just an online sports game. Not many online games are in the position to proclaim survivability and success for more than 10 years on the MMO market. However, 14 years of achievements and successes have led Shot Online to be very well-adapted to a player-friendly environment with abundant amounts of content and it is still on-going.
