Skull and Bones will finally be launching in just a few short months after what seemed like an eternity waiting for the pirate MMO. With the game’s launch looming on the horizon, the big question weighing on PC players’ minds is will their rigs be able to run the game on its highest settings.

Worry not because Ubisoft has revealed the official system requirements for Skull and Bones, its PC-exclusive features (sorry console fam), and the anti-cheat system it will be using to deter dishonorable pirates.

To play the game on the lowest graphics settings on PC you’ll need to have at least a 4th Gen Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, a GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 570 graphics card, and a minimum of 8GB of RAM. To experience the game in all its glory, you’ll need to have an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600, an RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800, and at least 16GB of RAM.

PC players will also get uncapped frame rates, multi-monitor and widescreen support, built-in benchmarking, adjustable FOV, and customizable controls. Higher-end rigs will also support ray-traced global illumination and DLSS/FSR.

You can either play the game solo or with up to two other players with full cross-play support with other platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia. You’ll be matched up with other players based on your PvP preference and Infamy level and will enjoy anti-cheat protection courtesy of BattlEye.

Ubisoft is taking a hard stance against cheaters and warns that anyone caught using cheats will be permanently banned on their first offense.

If all goes according to plan, we should be able to set sail in Skull and Bones on November 8th.
