SoulWorker Developers Threaten To Sue Copycat Blockchain Game Soul Reborn

After being brought back from the dead last year, it looks like SoulWorker will be reincarnated again as a blockchain game called Soul Reborn. That’s if they get past Lion Games, that is. Lion Games is threatening to sue the Soul Reborn’s developers for copyright infringement advising players to stay well away from the blockchain game.
“Soul Reborn is the game that currently steals the Intellectual Property of SoulWorker without permission,” tweeted Lion Games. “Please DO NOT signing up/promoting the above mentioned site to prevent further damages. Lion Games will take strong Legal Action and respond to those who take illegal advantage without mercy.”
In response, Soul Reborn’s developers are threatening to file their own lawsuit for defamation, maintaining that they’ve purchased the SoulWorker IP and have signed the necessary documents. They also openly admit on the game’s official site that the game is based on the “famous online Soul Worker.”
Lion Games is now waiting on proof that these documents really do exist and have asked them to submit copies to the studio. If you’re curious to see what Soul Reborn is promising, you can check out the game’s website here while it’s still up and running.
