Star Wars the Old Republic Improving Free to Play Experience

Star Wars: The Old Republic announced this week that July's 5.10.4 update will improve the free to play experience. The 3 most notable changes are the following:

• Credit cap for free to play users (and preferred) will be increased to 1,000,000 (up from 200,000 and 350,000).
• Both free to play and preferred users will get an additional quickbar. (Free to play is now 3, Preferred is now 5).
• Both free to play and preferred players will gain access to quick travel and medical probes.

I suspect Bioware is relaxing the game's free to play restrictions to combat a declining playerbase.
