Star Wars The Old Republic Removes Level Requirement For Sprinting

Get your running shoes on, or boots, or whatever it is that characters in Star Wars The Old Republic wear because you can now sprint in the game right out of the character creation screen. Yesterday’s Update 7.3.1b finally removed the level requirement to unlock the sprint ability. Previously, you had to wait until level 10 before you can run across your chosen class’s starting zone.

It’s not a big update by any means, but it does make your life in the sci-fi MMORPG a lot easier now that you can travel faster at earlier levels. The update also fixed known issues with the K-NorCo B5C, including piloting, mounting, and companion bugs. Details can be found in the full patch notes on the Star Wars The Old Republic official site.

The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally is also live in the game for those who feel the need for speed.
