Steam Next Fest: Notable Multiplayer And MMO Titles Featured In The Event
Steam Next Fest, the digital platform’s indie game showcase event, officially kicked off yesterday with demos for over a thousand new and upcoming titles. Among those is a smattering of multiplayer and MMO games that might just pique your interest. We’ve listed some of the notable new titles below:
Uncharted Waters Origin – the next installment in the Uncharted Waters franchise and is set to launch on PC and mobile later this year.
Grace Online – a fantasy sandbox MMORPG that promises an immersive fantasy world that players can freely explore as they please. The game is scheduled for release on March 6th.
Dark and Darker – a hardcore first-person PvPvE dungeon crawler where players go up against gruesome monsters and against each other.
Pirates of Pangaea – a multiplayer survival game that offers a good mix of land and sea-based content set in the infamous Bermuda Triangle. Players will be able to craft a ship in a bottle that they can use to sail out into the open seas and travel to mysterious lands where they can build bases, raise crops, and even go treasure hunting.
Voidtrain – a co-op survival box set in a topsy turvy world where players take on the role of crew members aboard the Interdimensional Express Train. Players will be able to upgrade and customize their trains as they travel through multiple dimensions inhabited by mysterious creatures and waiting enemies. The game will be launching on PC sometime this year.
Deceive Inc. – a multiplayer deception game that drops players into the shoes of secret agents working to complete the same objective while preventing others from doing so. It’s scheduled to launch into cross-platform open beta on March 10th followed by a full release on March 21st.
Peck ‘Em – Bird Brawlers – a chaotic casual multiplayer arena game featuring cute pigeons with over-the-top fighting moves and comical fight sequences and is scheduled for release in Q3 2023.
Boundary – a space sci-fi team-based shooter that shakes things up by adding zero gravity to the mix and is set to come out this year.
